Ian Murphy

Founder & Managing Attorney
Ian Murphy is an attorney licensed in Oregon and Washington and accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs. He brings years of experience as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Army JAG Corps, including service as the Chief of Legal Assistance for a large installation, where he provided counsel to hundreds of Soldiers and families. Ian began his career as a Lieutenant in an Infantry Battalion, completing one combat deployment to Afghanistan in 2012-2013. Ian continues to serve today as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Army Reserve JAG Corps. After leaving active duty, Ian and his wife chose to settle in the Pacific Northwest, where they first met. They enjoy traveling the world, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with their two French bulldogs. Ian’s practice reflects the values that matter most to him—clarity, peace of mind, and steadfast advocacy for those who have served.
